Saria The Sympathetic

We all knew this one was coming, especially since I genially love Saria's character design, from her sustained hair to her lean legs. Nothing is cuter than a half grin with flowing hair in the wind to make you gawk in awe . . . she's a fine female. (I only wrote fine because it rhymed, nothing more!) I only anticipate that the viewing public will come more to liking Saria after this drawing, or else. Otherwise, I will have to draw even more Saria, unless you like her and still want more, that's always an option.

At the start, I was coming to the idea that this picture would not work because, well, take a look for yourself <<[link]>> Her hair is atrocious; nevertheless, it will take more than some hair to stop this fellow gent. SO, I started making all these lines and whatnot to make her hair more swirly and that of it's nature. After a few days, voila! "But dat's ONLY teh hair, bro!" Don't you worry, the rest of the picture was as smooth as pudding . . . if pudding was made of rocks and hard candy. It took an entire seven hours to make the shadow lines, how do I know, one school day is seven hours long, duh! But after that revulsion, it was as clear as can be, literally, which is why I had to start with the shading and constant erasing of the border-crossing lead smudges. Uhh . . . And there you have it, one weeks worth of drawing in a nutshell, or casing, whatever floats you paper mashie boat.
